"Aquila Restaurant‌ people with sarees are not allowed because they said sarees are not smart outfit. Please tell me what Smart outfit means" tweeted Anita Chowdhury. The post was tagged by Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Union Urban Development Minister Hardeep Singh Puri, Delhi Police Commissioner and Women Commission.

Netizens on social media were outraged over this. Demanded that action be taken against the restaurant. The restaurant heard their argument released an ad.
