Why Delhi Aquila Restaurant‌ Close ? Is it because there is no entry for women who come with a sari?

Journalist Anita Chaudhary shared the video on Facebook on Twitter. The incident took place at the Aquila Restaurant in Delhi. "Aquila Restaurant‌ people with sarees are not allowed because they said sarees are not smart outfit. Please tell me what Smart outfit means" tweeted Anita Chowdhury. The post was tagged by Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Union Urban Development Minister Hardeep Singh Puri, Delhi Police Commissioner and Women Commission.

Netizens on social media were outraged over this. Demanded that action be taken against the restaurant. The restaurant heard their argument released an ad. According to reports the restaurant near Ansal Plaza is now closed. It is learned that the South Delhi Municipal Corporation has sent a notice to the restaurant on the issue of licensing. There is no physical content anywhere in that notice. If not the notice states that Aquila is operating without a trade license. It has been closed since September 27, an official of the South Delhi Municipal Corporation said.

On September 21, the area public health inspector inspected the restaurant and found that the restaurant did not have a trade license and that the atmosphere there was unhygienic. Not only that there are also allegations of occupying government land and building a restaurant.
