The Eiffel Tower is one of the wonders of the world. Located in Paris, the capital of France, the structure attracts tourists from all over the world on a daily basis. Those who do so will stay there until the evening. Go up the elevator and see the beautiful Paris from the bird's eye. That scene is outstanding. Many people there celebrate Valentine's Day by saying I Love You.

That's a different story. So most tourists go to see the Eiffel Tower in the evening. Because the tower glows brightly with lights from evening. Impressive looks in golden color. One thing here is unknown to tourists. I mean photos of the Eiffel Tower should not be taken at night.

The photos and videos on the Eiffel Tower with lighting are copyrighted by their original creator. Therefore, others are not allowed to sell or share those photos.

Lights established in 1985:

Copyrights of the Eiffel Tower expired in 1985-1993. Since then people have had the chance to take daytime photos of the Eiffel Tower. So you can still take photos during the day, share, sell and publish. The same goes for videos. Those who take them have full legal rights over them. However, the Eiffel Tower Night Lightings were established in 1985. They are therefore entitled to artistic work under copyright law in France. They are available only to those who set them up.

No action on anyone:

What we have said so far is how to be legal. But many people are currently taking photos and videos of the Eiffel Tower at night. Selling them, sharing them doing it all. However, the Eiffel Tower operators did not take any copyright action against anyone. Because to do so would have to take over a few crores of people. That's not going to happen. So no one had any problem. But those who want to legally share and sell night photos take permission first pay the appropriate fee only then do so there will be no problems.
